To check out materials from the library, you must present your student ID card at the Circulation Desk. Students need to show proof of student status issued by the Business Office to obtain a card. Non-students (Patrons) must present their Library Patron cards. Patrons must show proof of Clatsop county residence or residence in Pacific or Wahkiakum counties in Washington to obtain a card. The library reserves the right to require photographic identification such as a Washington or Oregon Driver's license or ID card that shows a local residence.

Renew items online. If you can't renew your item, you've most likely encountered one of the following:
The renewals have been exceeded for that particular item
If someone else has a hold on that item
The item is overdue
Overdue Fees (per day)
Reserve Items
$1/day
Interlibrary loans (ILLs)
$1/day
If a long overdue book goes into "lost" status, the patron is required to pay for the replacement of the item.
All items renewed beyond the original checkout period are subject to being recalled for use by others. Should this become necessary, a notice will be sent with the new due date(s). The fine for not returning the recalled item(s) by the new return date is $1 per day per item.
User Responsibility
Please, return materials on time and in good condition. Users will be billed for the actual cost of non-returned materials, plus a processing charge of $25.00 per item. NOTE: this replacement cost can potentially be considerably higher than the original purchase price if the item is out of print.
Library cards are for patrons ages 18 and older.
If you bring children to the library, please supervise them at all times.
